couple quick flywheel install questions

couple quick flywheel install questions

is there any wrong way to install it? i aligned the little hole on the crank and the little hole on the flywheel

is there any wrong way to install the timing ring?

What Flywheel are you using ?? Remember to put the spacer in between the Flywheel and Bolts if your using the stock unit, keep it out if your using the Fidanza. Timing ring goes on the rear of the Flywheel via bolts. I think 8 bolts hold it on

A little Blue Locktight on the Flywheel bolts, and torque them down to 61-69 ft lbs and your set

fidanza... i was going to use a 5th gen clutch and pressure plate, but i called 4 dealerships that dont have it in stock. i knew i was taking a gamble on counting on them having it. so im going with a napa clutch, which they will have in a couple hours.... they saved my ***, i have to work at 5

uh, if a dealer doesnt have it in stock, they can order it for you and have it in a few days.

Where do you guys find the flywheel torque at? I looked in the FSM and my haynes manual and cannot find it. Can anyone tell me the page it is on in the FSM?

the car had to run that day, i just didnt really plan ahead. i torqued the bolts to 75ft lbs

well, that can't be too good imo. An impact can go to 200 foot pounds if i'm not mistaken
