I just got the 1156 LED turn signal bulbs put in. Mine are in but the blinker blinks at about 900 times a second, kinda like when a light is out, but all the lights are on? Any suggestions? or has anyone else had this problem? Thanks in advance for the help By the way when I lock the car with the remote they blink normally they also are normal when I put the hazards on? WTF!

when you go outside the car, can you see both the front and rear ambers blinking that fast? check to make sure the bulb isn't reversed in it's socket.

also, try our hazards, do they blink fast? with the hazards on, check to make sure all the blinkers are blinking at the same intensity.

are you using different colored/higher wattage bulbs? does it only blink fast when you signal to one side or both sides?

Yeah make sure they aren't in reversed that will mess up the ground which will cause you too flash really quickly. Usually the front and right are seperate but the front and rear linked. Thus, if your front left signal is reversed than your left rear signal will also blink quickly.

Well I don't see how they could be put in wrong, the bulbs only have one connector like piece on them, all the lights work, only when the turn signal is on do they blink fast, they blink fast on both turn signals? would it be that the LED lights don't need as much wattage to light up?

The LED lights would definitely make a difference. There is less current going through the system, which would fool the flasher into thinking that a bulb was burnt out. That's why I asked if you were using aftermarket different colored/aftermarket bulbs. You can try a different flasher module.

Any auto parts store. Most Japanese cars use electronic flashers and most American cars use thermal flashers.

You can try a heavy duty flasher designed for towing. Those are less susceptible to differences in load in the turn signal circuit. The other thing you can try is finding the flasher module for 1 light setup instead of a 2 light setup (where it flasher two lights at a time) since the LED lights draw less current.

I havne't looked for the flasher module in the Max yet, but it's normally under the dash and should be a square module that simply pulls straight out. You can flick on your turn signals and listen for the clicking noise to find it as the clicking noise originates from this flasher.

i changed my relay to a hyper-blinker and it's fast, so fast that the blinkers don't have time to shut off. just like in the movie in the f & f.
