Need help: need to remove 98 bose deck

Need help: need to remove 98 bose deck

Need help guys,

tryin to get behind the bose deck, but i don't wanna break the trim. What do i have to do to take the deck out???

Pry out the center A/C vent/clock assembly in the dash. Pry out the Shifter Trim. Remove the ashtray. Once all of that is done you will see 4 screws that hold the metal brackets that the H/U and DIN Pockets are all mounted to.

where do u start prying, i don't wanna break the trim. what did u use to pry it? butter knife?

I used the thinnest flat blade screw driver I could find for the A/C Vent Assembly. Start on the side of the A/C Vent Area using the dash board as the leverage point. As for the shifter trim just use your fingers. Grab it at one of the corners furthest away from the dash. You will need to grab the trim on the part that is cut out for the shifter. Then just pull up.

now, do u guys know where i can get a wiring diagram? for the 98
