Hey, I saw a tread about this some time ago, but Im wondering if you can retrofit heated seats into an SE Maxima that didn't come with them from the factory.

BTW, I ask because in three months it'll be winter.....in Chicago...

 

not sure about retro fitting but our seats are much cheaper than you'd think

 

I know it's basically possible to equip a Max SE with heated seats. I got the idea b/c I parked next to a Max that was a carbon copy of mine ( white, black leather , SE, auto ,sunroof) except he/she had HEATED SEATS. Until today I thought only GLE's got heated seats, but, oh well.

That just means I can have them too! Right ?

 

I have to ask... but how did you know it had heated seats?... I mean if you knew the person I could see if you had sat in their car or they had told you, you would know... but you obviously don't know the person...

 

or he could have seen the switches.

spying on another man's max, I love it.
the only issue is if you have a 7way power seat as well, and there is (I believe) a different harness to the seat. then you have to cut out the switches and wire everything up which is no biggie. I got my car with the heated seats so I cant help you much.

 

Wow, never knew people actually uses heated seats. Weather's too good here in sunny California
