Do I have a fuel pump problem?

I have starting issues ( specially when the car is sitting for a few hours)..

Starter speed is normal
I changed the ignition switch...
I did a test this morning, I have 1/8 of gas left... I turned the key left it on accessory for 2 minutes and then I have almost 1/4 tank of gas..
now is this a sign of a faulty fuel pump and this is what is contributing to my starting issue? reason why I ask is when I start the car, when I press the gas( pump the pedal) it helps the car "catch" for startup...

so I changed the ECTS, grounded the engine and tranny and etc... changed the ignition switch... the only think left I can think of is the Fuel pump...

anyone have an idea?

thanks
KL

Check (with a spark plug tester) for spark, check for fuel with your nose, if one doesnt exist, theres your problem, also check codes.

I have the same issue too and thats what the dealer said that it might be the fuel pump..I grounded the engine, the tranny and also the starter too.
I have brand new injectors, cleaned the throttle, new starter, new egr valve.
