I have black racing seats that are not leather, I have custom brackets for them to bolt to the car, and made extentions to keep the stock seat belt thing to click the stock seat belt into...also made a custom bracket for the racing seat belts but thats gay, so dont do it, you will get tired of how long it takes to put on/take off the belts

Nice setup with the Z seats...how hard was that to do? I wanna swap seats so bad but I figured doing the driver power seat would be a pain in the ***....anyone have a write-up or is it not that bad?

Are the 350z seats lighter than the stock maxima seats? I sat in a 350z at a car show and it feels comfortable but do you have any comparison opinions? Thanks

IIRC you use the A32 seats' base and simply put the bottom cushion of the 350Z seat on that. Then you just use the 350Z back.

Well, its not that simple. Yes you use the Maxima's seat rails, but when bolting the 350z bottoms to the rails, the holes DO NOT line up. You will have to create a bracket of some sort to bring them together.

Are these leathers from a 350Z? Yea I'm sure the seats are pretty expensive,in the OP pics they look like they are cloth seats, are they? I have cloth interior now and putting leather up front would obviously look ridiculous. I would imagine a 350Z cloth seat to be much cheaper right?

how would the 350z seats look in my tan interior? It's the SE tan interior, so there's still some black inside, like the steering wheel and stuff. Do they make tan interior for 350z's?

the biggest thing is the mounting points. the front ones are simple but the rear ones need to be removed from the 4th gen rails and welded to the 5th gen rails. also that means that you will have to remove the rear mounting points from the 5th gen rails before you can weld the 4th gen brackets back to the rail.

Similiar, but not exactly. The side bolster are shaped differently as well as the headrests. The 350Z seats look more like a racing seat.

I guess to each there own, but in all honesty, I dont see how you can think the 02 maxima seats resemble racing seats over the 350z seats.
The 2002 seats are nice, but I see them as more luxury then racing.

Recaro seats from an EVO

350Z seats

2002 Maxima seats

Reactive makes very nice racing seats. The frames are made by the same company that makes the frames for Bride. You can get them in multiple materials but you will have to make an adapter plate to go between the mounting bracket and the seat. I had a machine shop make mine out of 1/8 inch steel and once the mounting holes were drilled, they cut the center out of the steel plate to lighten them up. According to the machine shop, you would have to get hit by a train to bend them! Very strong and light. I have had the seats for over a year and they are still perfect.
