Hey everyone, my Altezzas arrived today, over the course of about two hours, i ran into minor problems becuase there were no instructions, though they were not difficult to install, just some of the 6 year old screws didnt want to budge, but look at all the new pics, and give me some feedback of what you think

They look good for altezza's but I honestly still prefer the 97-99 clear'd lights, but that's my personal pref. Whatever makes you happy, but they don't look bad at all.

hey

they look good but u have to remember that those are like the first generation alteeza lights.. just like for hondaz they have like type II style and they have SKYLINE style alteezas.. i would wait to see if they made Skyline style alteezas because those would look better also figuring that the skyline is a nissan product and not a honda product.

dood im not going to open my mouth about your lights.... but what you definetly should do is get some Meatier Tires .... wider tires make the max look alot more aggressive, and help soo much with handling.

I know and totally understand you, in fact i am saving up right now to buy me some 17s, but you must consider this, i am only 17 and already have a ton of work in the car and am spending every extra dollar i get on it, i do have a fstb, and have sprint springs that ihavent installed yet bcause i am putting them on with the rims, 3 months from now this car will look amazng, but that will be my next upgrade, and yes they will be chrome

Well civics have quite a selection, maxs dont, i have been waiting for these to be made for a while, and when they finally came out i jumped on the opportunity, i just wasnt sure about the red clears because i had a hard time trying to find a set, they did even look absurdly large to me at first, but after looking at them for a couple days i am really liking the look of a lot of chrome and the clean look they give the back end compared to the stock orange

Nope not yet, although i have one simple thing i am wondering, if the taillight size is the same, they could work, the reason they say they dont is bc the reverse liht position is different, but with the way the wiring harness is it appears you could just put the bottom reverse bulb in the top spot and vice versa and they may work, but since they are rather pricey i would just wait bc they are being made

I don't want to rain on anybody's parade but UGH! Those things look GROSS!

Maybe if the silver parts were the same color as the body they'd be better but those huge-assed silver areas are just plain ugly. Sorry but you asked for feedback.

What's on the Chevy Maxima clone (Malibu?) look better than those blasphemous abortions. lol

I'll go with the clears. Thanks for the pics though. <grin>

Yeah I only saw them on ebay for 95-96, but if you go to street-beat.com, they have them for 98's, but I wasn't sure.

Re: Whoops.. sorry...

That was so nice of you, yes originally i thought they looked incredibly large, but over the week i have got used to them and think they look better every day, you just want skyline lights which would be nice, but these are the next best thing

SEE

This shows how much room we have with these lights tho.. think about it. u have those HUGE tail lights and then all that room that is occupied my that "chrome." all someone needs to do is make the cirles a little smaller and basically make the tail light slook like SKYLINE tail lights because if they did that .. the max would look GREAT.. like if we have the areas that dont have lights in it like the same color of the car that would look soo tight.. but im really not feelin all of that chrome..it doesnt look right

Well im from texas and everything here is bigger, so nothin wrong with that, plus i will say again that ive always loved the look of chrome and it makes the car easier to spot in a parking lot, so hey i wouldnt mind skyline lights, but chrome still rules

it's only my opinion but.....

Do you guys want the Chevy Impala look or do you just wanna look like all the other import trash? I personally like the all red tails or the red and clear tali lights. I don't want my car to look like all the other "Hunduhs" Let's try to be original guys, Chrome is out. I remember putting chrome on my first car in the early 90's it sucks! alloy is lighter and doesn't beg for attention.
I thought we maxima owners have a little more class than the Honda owners, don't you think that's why only a few people cater to our aftermarket needs? ie. Stillen__he's still ripping us off though!

altezzas

personally , i dont like the way they look , but then again most people hated the way the new 2000's rear section looked like now it has grown on people, i do have an idea though , has anyone seen the difference in the headlights on the 2001 special edition ?? they are backed with a dark chrome , i think it looks awesome , anyone think the altezzas would look better like this ??
