CV's Do i need to remove the passenger one to change the driver one?

Just as the title states, do i need to take out the pass. one to "pop" the driver one out?

Also how hard is it to do the tranny seals where the CV's go in? and how much are they

Also finnally, how much are Raxles, and do i get a Maxima.org discount.

Thanks guys.

you do not need to remove the passengers side to remove the drivers side.
a raxle axle will probably be around $150-$1200. i paid $200 shipepd for my drivers side for a 2k2 maxima.

you will need to yank the axle out once you got it out of the knuckle. i never did the seals so cant help you out with that.

seals aren't hard, if you use something oversized (larger than the seal) and flat to pop it in you won't have to worry about putting it in too far. they are like $8 from nissan iirc (each side)

No, your fluid is gonna all drain out when you take the axle out...

you'd better drain it first unless you'd like a face full of fluid.

Just pry out the old seal with a screw driver. When you put in the new seal in try not to push it too far in. I made that mistake. Just keep pushing it in until it's even with the tranny. Anyway the toughest part for me was taking off the axle nut.
