Spark Plugs - NGK Platnium BKR5EGP7090

I replaced the spark plugs a few weeks ago. I went to Advanced Auto and got these plugs Spark Plugs - NGK Platnium BKR5EGP7090 (It came in a yellow and gray box). They were only $3 dollars per plug. I keep on seeing people on here paying 3 times a much for the same type of plugs. Am I using the right ones? Or is there a different number for my 1999 Maxima?

Does anybody use the same type plugs that I have? Just wondering, after doing the tune-up got a slight knock, one that was not there before. Just wondering if i am using the correct plugs or not...

I just changed mine yesterday, bought the NGK Laser Platinum (OEM) for about $10/ea from Advanced Auto. My old plugs still looked very good when I yanked them out, only had 40K miles so I think they should last much longer, but I did it anyway.

They are correct plugs, but they just don't last as long as PFR5G-11.

If the Lasers are good for 60K, How long for the G-Powers?

NGK Japan's website says that they are same as conventional (copper) ones.

I had a buddy tell me the other day that copper core are better performance wise, they just don't last as long.

No prob...... The G-power plat has a thinner conductor than the more expensive Laser plat. As a result, the G-power is rated for about 30K mi. as opposed to the Lasers 60K. but within it's rated operational life, I think it's performance is as good as it's higher priced sibling.
