Cefiro Hid's????

I have two questions but let me explain myself before the questions. I'm planning on getting the cefiro headlight in a couple weeks. I want to get hid lights to put inside but i dont want to have that ugly uncontrolled glare that the cars have without projectors. I'm going to be retro-fitting projectors in the headlight. My main question is what kind of shroud has been used?? The shroud just basically covers the projecter and makes the headlight look a bit nicer. Does anyone have pictures of their cars with cefiro headlights with hid???

try hidplanet.org they will answer all your qiestions about retrofitting it all depends on what type of projecotr ur retrofitting. I would go with a e46 bixenon or e55 bixenon or if you go the money tsx single xenox thay are already sealed u jsut need a nice bezel

I am going to start my Cefiro retro fit with TSX projectors and BMW E46 xenon shrouds..

I've seen lexus RX330 ( i think) shrouds in Cefiro's as well..
basically, you do not need to use existing car shrouds, you can make your own.. as long as it looks good and doesn't let light escape, it's all good..

good luck doing the retrofit.. and like achebee4you mentionned, go to HIDplanet.com and register to go on the forum... a lot of threads on how to retrofit and a lot of people selling retrofitting stuff..

I also want to pick up some cefiro headlights and throw in some hid lights but i'm not going to bother retro fitting them. It takes too much time and costs too much. I don't want to try to do them myself cause I may end up screwing them up so I'm gonna get the cefiro headlights and throw those glare shields in.

Those glare shields would probably work, but how are you going to have high beams?

Haven't figured that one out yet. I'll probably just do without them.

i did m45 hids in mine, basically the same setup as the 5th gen, not really that impressed with them. it reflects the curve of the back of the housing so i have 2 lines in the light beam in the middle of the road. dont get me wrong, i think theyre awesome, but not worth the effort. i shoulda tried the h4(?) lights it came with first
