one of my friends has a 97 se and it wont start because the fuel pump isnt getting any fire checked all of the fuses....anyone have any ideas of what may be causing the problem

Fuel pumps are suppose to get ?

 

fuel pump relay. or your fuel pump shot. have someone turn the key on and off while you put your hand on the gas tank. to you feel or hear it turn on? if you cant feel or hear it have someone hold the key over while you smack or kick the gas tank. if it finally starts then your pumps bad.

 

how do you know its with the pump?

 

where is the relay located

 

try the fuel pump fuse..make sure its not dead
