Who has the best deal on knock sensors.

Well my MPG was in the toilet last tank, so I checked my ecu for faults. I have the good ol knock sensor fault (0304). I've been looking around online for a deal on parts. Courtsey is $160 w/wiring, also found $125 w/o wiring. I have found quite a few on Ebay for $60 (picture shows the Nissan sensor and part #) Anyone have any luck (good or bad) with the sellers on ebay??? I hate to pay full pop retail if I can get them on ebay for 1/2 price, however I don't want to put junk on the car and have to repair it again.
here's the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-N...spagenameZWD1V

Is it normal to drop 4+mpg due to the knock sensor??? I got 16mpg on the last tank (all city, short trip) I think the last time I checked around town it was like 20-21mpg???

Go ebay. They work and from everyone I've talked to on here has gone with ebay. But I've also heard some guys say that the problem was in the wiring of the knock. So its your choice to go with ebay or try the $160 with wiring and try to kill both if its that. I'm pretty sure that you can get the actual wiring for fairly cheap tho so I'd say look into that. If the wiring is cheap alone then go ebay and wiring. I'm taking my car to Firestone soon so they can run a diagnostic and see if its the sensor or wiring. Sorry for rambling so much in this post.

I think the wiring harness from the sensor to the connector at the valve cover is under $20 (I was going to get that from Nissan) I used a DVOM to check my sensor at the connector ....18Mohms (500kohm normal)

$52CAD from EuropartsEtc Canadian link. For some reason the US site has it for $131USD.

I'd figure a way to order from the Canadian site and ship it to a Canadian address then ship it again to your place.

Try this site. It's pinnacle Nissan and they are having a special on the knock sensors. I've ordered stuff from them before and they have some of the best prices on original factory parts.

i buy from ebay, and know alot of people here on the org have bought the sensor on ebay for approximatly 70$ give or take a few dollers with shipping!

the ones on ebay have all been good! i havent seen anyone complain here on the org about any bad knock sensors (many other things).

i was sceptical at first myself, but its far cheaper and you get a good one. just make sure you buy from a reputable buyer is all i ask for, and there are many of those out there selling maxima knock sensors.

Got my 96 Maxima Knock Sensor for $89 from rockauto.com

It may not be the lowest price. But it was new Nissan Japan OEM part and it worked perfectly.

I purchased one from eBay for $60 shipping included. I compared the old/original KS to the new one and they were identical. My mechanic pointed out that the box does not say "Nissan".

I believe the eBay source purchases them in bulk.
