no, for a drain that would be ~ 4.5 quarts. and you can use any cheap dexIII you want.

transmission fluid

I called the dealer the other day to find out what fluid to use because the owners manual only states Nissan D matic fluid. The dealer said that I could only use the Nissan fluid and nothing else. The problem is the dealer is 180 miles away. I thought they might recommend something else once I told them how far away I was but they stuck with saying I should only use the Nissan fluid. I checked the Mobil1 website and their ATF didn't say anything about being compatible with Nissan's. It sounds like Mobil1, Amsoil, or Dextron III will work. Is this correct?
Thanks

FSM states any equivalent fluid is fine.

Mobil 1 and Amsoil exceed Nissans std.

Dex III exceeds Dex II which Nissan states as equivalent(DexII = D matic).
