i took out my front and rear seats, center console, kickplates, and kick panels.
(1)what else do i need to remove to yank the carpet out? the carpet seems like it can easily come off, but it goes into teh center dash. SWEETSOUND2001 has recommended to cut it out, and if that's the only way, (2)how would i do that?
if there's an alternative way, i'd like to know about it.
also, (3) how do you remove the top pillars on the left and right side of the dash, and the center pillars where the seat belts are?
thanks!

I ran across the same problem. I was too lazy to rip out the dash, or even cut it, so I just wroked around it. It took a little to manhandle, but I was tired, hot, and hungry. I'd say cut it out.
As far as the pillers go, I think they just snap in like the rear pillar covers.

other things need to be done to remove the carpet. Unscrew the seatbelt bolts for passenger and driver. Unclip the lower part of the center pillars on both sides. And cut the carpet in the place where it goes behind the dash ( near the ecu)
Let us know what happens. Good luck.

Crazy's a good word for it
I did not do the floor, only becuase I only had two rolls. If you're going to put down the heat sheild, I don't think you need the RAAMmat. I would just put down a layer of the heat sheild and see what happens. I noticed there is already some decent padding under the carpet, and with just 1 layer it was pretty thick.
