Alternator dead??? Need help baaad!
Well I’m just losing my mind here…I’m on like my 10th car jumping/boost this week. I randomly have to have my car jumped. I just got a new battery installed and it’s still doing the same thing. I won’t have any problems, then I go to start the car and all I here is some clicking under the dash, like rapidly clicking…there is still power running through the car, not sure how much juice. But anyways, I get somebody to give a boost, and it starts right away. This is happening randomly. I thought it was the battery, so I had it replaced, covered by warranty. But the issue came again twice now since Saturday evening.
I am wondering if the alternator is not charging the battery. Any ideas? You can imagine how annoying this is getting since I can’t find people to boost me all the time.
Thanks in advance!!!

If the battery and starter are new, then the Alternator is the problem.
I have some whining noise too and my battery died last week. I replaced it but I afraid it will die too because the Alternator is whining constantly. I'm gonna go to mechanic on Sat.

It wouldHave the alternator tested at a couples of places (get a second opinion, I was told it was good when two other stores said it was bad), and proceed from there.
Alternator is kinda tricky to get off as it’s a tight space, I wouldn’t suggest following the write up on motorvate.ca as it will have you going thru a lot of extra sets that can easily be avoided. Now would be a good time to replace the A/C Belt if you have done some recently.
