Water leak on driver's side in '99

There's a leak in a friend's '99 accumulating on the floor on the driver's side.

What are the most popular things to look for? The car does have a sunroof and the windshield was replaced a year or so ago. Are there drains to be checked or common places that leak ? Popular ways to test ?

Thanks,

Maybe it's from the A/C?

Thought about that - where's the drain? I thought it was on the passenger side but I don't really know.

... and anyone else with other ideas ? Somebody must have had this problem before.

i have had this problem for the last year now! I think it is comming thru the windsheild seal below the control arms of the wipers...Where would i bring my car to get this fixed?...collision shop??.....i hope we can pinpoint this conflict together

your problem may be your heater core, if your front window fogs up constantly then thats your problem. if not them I would suspect the windshield seal, in that case try a glass shop.

I had water accumulating on the floor of the rear drivers side. I thought at first the weather stripping was the cause as it was sort of hanging off a little. i resealed that and had the same problem.

then I discovered that various debris, pine needles etc. were accumulated on the top of the weather stripping along the door frame. so much had accumulated that when it rained it was acting like a mini-dam of sorts so that the water then ran over the weather stripping, down the edge of the door and along to the floor.

it was really hard to figure out because only the floor was wet, not the seats or inside of the door or anything. as the weather stripping is the same design on all four doors I would definitely check that.
