Well...I go WOT from a stoplight(max is auto) , get to crusing speed, and hear a strange sound...don't pay attention to it until I go on lunch, and hear this nasty sound coming from the exhaust...

I peek under there to see my O2 sensor dangling from the wire harness. I guess the exahust flow "pushed" it out , for lack of a more scientific explaination.

I stuck it back in the mounting hole, but has this happened to any of you .orgers ? How much does a new Cat+Y-pipe cost?

I'm honestly surprised the fragile-looking sensor didn't get ripped off the chassis....

 

it prolly wasnt in securely or the threads are stripped...a y-pipe is around 250ish depending who u get it from...u can get a cat fo rlike 80
