can someone maybe explain this....
ok so the other day getting homr from normal stuff, and got out same way i always would. later in the day went out to go to work and my radio, actually is was the cd playing, was on inside the car and pretty loud. the doors were locked, windows all the way up, no key or anything!!??!! it freaked my wife and I out, i have never seen that happen before. the car does have a aftermarket radio but not a special one. any ideas on what could make this happen?? thanks for the info
ya it sux cuz when i bought the car i didnt even ask the guy where he had the things installed at. ill have to look into it more if it happens again. but how would it get power from the battery with nothing charging it, meaning the ignition key not even in. and my wife thinks its a ghost too
What Cd you had in the player?
The battery will be charged while driving and that could easily power up the radio...... if the radio is getting power directly from the battery. That explains why you didn't have the key in and it still got power.

His battery better always be charged, it is what starts his car! The battery is recharged while driving, to keep it full. Also, as long as you turn the radio off, it will drain little power from your battery.
