stereo kits

im on a super tight budget since new parts for my max are on the way but my stereo has been seriously bothering me. its still the stock one from 97 and it is not bose, so its blown to ****. i was wondering if anyone has really good set ups for cheap. i love the look of the flip up screens, but dont have the money, so if anyone is selling flip up screen head units for reasonably cheap pm me.
im looking for new speakers and head unit so whatever is cheap and sounds really good.

Hey I dont have anything too great but I do have a pioneer hu in my closet from my old max. I dont want it in my 98 because I like the stock/2din look much better. It's not a flip up screen or anything, just a hu. It's great qualtiy and was used for a year. But you won't find a hu with the flip screen for cheap. Too many extras in that hu to be cheap. Try the audio forum as well.
