What is the BEST way to Launch when at the Track?

My Best R/T

When I set my best time I launched in Drive and just Slammed he gas, NO power Break... Jusy watched the Tree and Hit the gas...

If by "N" drop you mean hitting the gas and dropping it in "D" you'll kill the transmission.

Power braking to about 1700rpm works for me. The tree is the trick.

The trick is to luanch as soon as you see that third yellow.
A typical persons reaction time and the lag in trans make that the best way to get a good light. Adjust accordingly if your Superman.lol

powershift? You mean manually shifting? You can only powershift with a 5spd. When I went to the track, I manually shifted starting from 1st, power brake to 2k rpms, and shifted at 6k rpms. This was the first time I raced at the track. My best run was a 15.5 at 89mph. Track conditions also come into play. If I live up North, where it's cooler, I think I could have got even better times.
