Bose crap? I've never heard bose referred to as crap.....anyways, take out the speakers and measure, then you'll know the depth.

Haha well I guess that counts as crap. My tweeters are blown too. But I cant find any regular bose tweeters for sale. It would be nice to just switch those speakers.

is it blown or just the paper ripped? well, doesn't matter...I bought a repair kit and extra bose speakers....

I'm gonna splice the existing wires and add another speaker at the rear...I wonder if there is room for another speaker in the back...hmm. I guess I'll check tommorrow.

If you are just using the head unit for power...don't bother switching. You need amps...otherwise keep the original setup/oem unit. My car is getting old so I don't bother switching...bought bose speakers on ebay for cheap. I'll need to find a way to mount the extra speakers I bought.

Is there any difference between the amps on the 95 maxima bose? I opened it up and they all interface correctly...they look the same except for a stamp that describes it's specific location.

I switched the rear amp and put it in the left front speakers...I don't detect any difference. I removed the two front door speakers and replaced it with the two rear I bought from ebay...it's much louder.

planning to retrofit the rear with the extra speaker I got from ebay .

Alot of people have aftermarkets. What you need to do is replace them, and cross over the replacements. There should only be mid-bass from them no bass.
