Noise from starter?

I just purchased a remanufactured bosch starter and it works great my car starts right up now no issues whatsoever......except sometimes when I start it it makes a loud errrrr noise this is the best way I can describe it ,maybe it needs to be greased or something? The starter works awesome except this. Anybody have any Ideas what this could be?? Or should i just shut up and be happy it finally starts right up???

Mine did the very same thing. I promptly drove the car right back to the parts store and had the guy that sold me the reman come out and listen to it.

I did not tell him anything, I said "Here, just listen to this." So I started the car.

He replied, "That sounds like crap." I told him that yes, it did. I had to go home and take the new one back off in order for him to exchange it, but he did. Problem solved.
