just installed a stillen bolt on intake what do i do with the air temperature sensor

i just installed the intake and i had to unplug that air sensor from the airbox and now i dont know what i should do with it. should i leave it hanging without being connected to anything or something else. if any maxima owners no what to please respond thanks

There should be a spot for it at the center of the intake, under where it says "Stillen". I am almost positive mine did.

No mine did not are you talking about on the metal piece or plastic peice cuz theres no holes on either. also is that temperature sensor really impportant like what does it do. but no i do not have one any other suggestions?

no hole just plain metal bracket. the only thing that says stillen is the top of the air cone filter.

errrr i have a ghetto intake..

with just an adapter and 3" filter..... mine doesnt have a hole eiother for the AIR sensor.. i just taped it up and out it to the side.... so it wouldnt get dirty...



but i dunno...


tell me how to fix my problem.......

should i drill a hole?? but where??

well instead of drilling holes all i did was put the loop part in the intake so it can get air readings that way but i dont know if thats good or not but yeah its in the actual intake. it sounds fine so im not really gonna worry about it much anymore. so if thats wrong please get back to this therad.
