5 spd swap (auto vs man ecu)

Well im getting ready to do a 5 spd swap in my car, i already put the 01 dek motor in and is working well, however i want a m/t. I have the technosquare ecu but since the auto and manual ecus are different i guess ill have to change unless i want to see the o/d light for the rest of my life. Is there anyway i can transfer my geforce fuel maps and stuff over to the new computer ? Thats really my only concern. Any input is appreciated thanks.

If all you're worried about is fuel maps, get an AFC.

one last thing since the autos have a electronic motor mount that increases the stiffnes. Since i have to change it will my ecu throw a code for that if i keep the auto ecu ?

I'm not positive, but I think I remember taking out the TCM, and my tranny codes never showed up again.. This is with an auto ECU and 5spd trans.

It was under the radio. It was a blackish box.

But I think I remember getting some communication code afterwards... But no tranny codes.

while we kinda on the subject. swapin from auto to 5spd, do u have to run the same year ecu? for example, can an auto 98 swaping to a 5spd run on a 96 5spd ecu or it has to be a 98 5spd ecu ?

Well you have to tinker with it a little for it to work across different years and you may show a code or two. Sticking with the same year is best.

Since you have the TS ECU, I would just sell it for whatever you can get and prepare to invest in e-Manage Ultimate.
