Serpentine Belt Help

I am going to be working on my AC clutch as the bearing is going bad. I need to know if anyone has run another belt with out hte AC hooked up, and what size belt they used. I see in this link http://www.greghome.com/images/Maxim...DriveBelts.jpg that you should be able to run another belt with out getting in trouble with clearance. Please if you have any idea of what length belt to use or if you have used one before let me know.
