I have had my short ram intake for about a year now. Back in january i got a CEL for my O2 sensors (front ones), i got new ones and didnt put them on till couple months ago.. i still had a CEL for the same O2 sensors..... so i was planning on buying some more... yesterday i went to my cusin's house to get his stock resonator(intake) to put on my car... someone on here said that it would eliminate some of the lag you get front the after market intakes... so i took off the mid pipe and i put on the stock resonator.....and after about 10 miles the CEL went off..... i have driven about 40 miles since and it still hasnt come back on yet.... do you guys really think that the intake could have caused the CEL for the O2 sensors?

 

Did you clear ther ECU after installing the sensors?

 

That's wierd, maybe a coincidence?

 

02 sensors will sometimes turn the light on and off intermintantly

 

your light might be off the the fault is still stored.

you can have faults in the system and light not show up, like a knock sensor. not sure why things trigger and why they dont trigger a light.

 

mine turned on because my air filtor was o dirty. i replaced it and the light went off

 

well i did clear the code when i replced the O2 sensor but it came back on..... i am going to autozone right now to check the codes cause i just took a shower to go out so i dont wanna get under the dash....
