Ipod placement
What is the most convenient place to place an ipod and hide most of the wiring ( charger and audio/video cable)?? Are there any special holders. if you have pics of your setup, please post.

I could just be delirious because it's the morning, but I could have sworn that a guy on the org modified his ashtray to hold the iPod base. That way, all the wiring was hidden, and it served as a stealthy way to add iPod capability

I have a Alpine H/U with a single IPOD cable for music and charging (H/U controls the IPOD). I ran the cable into my center stack compartment (with the flip down door). Works great and I do not have to hide my IPOD when parking.

how about this:
it sits in the ash tray pretty well actually. and the cord that plugs into goes from the back of the CD player hidden under the center console trim and comes up next to the seat.
i didnt have to do any modifying to mine. i just put it in, and it actually worked nicely. pretty damn close to perfect fit...and it doesnt rattle around

I welded a small steel tray that fits into the forward slot of the central cup holder. Then I ran the iPod harness through a small hole that I drilled in the cupholder. (Hard-wired to Bose headunit.) I also have two RCA jacks sticking out of the central console just under the cig lighter. AUX switch is on passenger side next to shifter trim.

I have a '99 so I can't hardwire to the BOSE headunit. and i dont like how the previous years BOSE headunit look.....so I'm asking if its possible to hook up the Ipod to the 2005 BOSE Pathfinder headunit?

but since I'm a nice guy, I'd say you can probably be able to hard-wire an '05 Bose. You just need 4 PCB pins for left and right + and - audio, then a method for faking the AUX to turn on...which varies differently between years.
