Ok guys, yes I had a busy weekend manning the phones and email. I've responded to most that have indicated they live in the Houston area. Unfortunetely, I really don't want to get into shipping. Sorry for not being up front about that. Shipping little piece parts here and there will become way to time consuming.

Again, my main interest is to get the car out of the garage. So, if a few of you want to pool together and match the tax deduct. of about $1000, I give you the entire car. 10 people that live in the Houston area at $100 each. Not a bad deal. Let me know and please be patient with my slow response. The number of you interested is pretty overwhelming. Hope this helps....

getting lots of phone calls ? lol ! i bet emails, and pm's too, think about this. maxima.org has 70,099 members. I bet 96% of them are 4th gen owners! LOL ! your poor car prolly has nothing left by now.

post up some video of all the maxima people out in your front yard fighting over parts, lol !

Donation company just called and will be picking up the car either tomorrow or Wednesday. The offer is still out there for $1000. I would really rather it go to one or a group of you folks rather than just given to some salvage yard.

If someone has the time and space to store it, the car is probably worth several thousand dollars in parts. Engine and tranny alone would bring $1000.
Not to mention all the little interior pieces that are so hard to find. The entire nose is in near perfect condition, starter is newly rebuilt, new complete drivers side axle with lifetime warrenty on CV boots, tires have about 20K, etc......

I unfortunetely don't have the time and my wife wants her garage parking space back. If any of you are seriously interested the best way to reach me is by phone. 832-233-6636.

Just to reiterate, you show up with tow truck or flat bed and for $1000 the entire car is yours with a signed over title. Good luck to all.

Tow truck driver assigned by the donation company just called. Said he'd be at my house to pick up the car between 7am and 8am tomorrow morning.

Last ditch effort to motivate you guys to come get it before they do. I sincerely hope one of you gets it rather than the salvage yard.....

Either way, as I said, enjoyed talking with many of you on the phone and email. Thanks to all who contributed to helping me with my maxima over the years. Best of luck to all.

Man I wish I were one of these losers who trolls the .org all weekend because I have no life!!! I could reallly have use a pearl white SE front bumper, door handles, and a few other goodies. Please let us know which salvage yard it will be going to if there is any way at all you can find that information out for us. I'd like to get to it before the other Houston junk yard vultures do. If I can get to it while everything is still on it and have the time, I might be able to pull parts for other members while I'm there.

Again, thanks for the most generous offer even though we couldn't take full advantage of it. If I lived in a lesser neighborhood or had a more understanding wife, I'd buy it and part it out myself but that ain't gonna happen where I live. Good luck to you with whatever new car you get.

Wow, I can't believe that response. I just did the same thing to my 99 Max, and I'm gonna see if I can part it out as well. Probably not for free though, 10g debt to pay off on it still (I can't be as generous as this guy). I'll start a new thread after i make a few more posts, tell you guys whats all in it thats good.

I guess you missed the first post where he said "come take whatever you want for free before it gets taken for salvage", huh?
