JB Weld question. Will this work?

My Stillen exhaust came loose where the pipe comes into the exhaust from the b pipe. It's not the b pipe itself, but the muffler pipe. I want to JB Weld around the pipe attaching it to the muffler.

Has anybody used this stuff before?

Do you think it will work?

I have done it and by itself it will not hold for more than a few days.

Maybe go to a shop and actually weld it together. JB weld is cheap crap, it'll probably be more harmful then good.

Can anyone recommend a product that may work here, that I could buy at Advanced Auto Parts?

I don't know when I might be able to get to a shop to have it welded.

I used JB Weld a couple of years ago to reattach the flanges at each end of my braided flex pipe...it held, without fail, until I replaced the entire exhaust system (and was perfectly intact at that point). All in all, I love the stuff.
