HID Install Problems

From what I've read, installing a HID kit is fairly simple. When I went out to install the kit in my 4th gen, it wouldn't work. I hooked up everything the way it's supposed to be (ballast, ignitor, bulb) and plugged it in to the stock power headlamp supply. Is there something that I am missing? Could something be broken and I just don't know about it? If so, how could I go about testing what might be defective? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

BTW, the HID kit is a Prolumen one that I purchased off the .ORG

What does the wires on the HID harness look like? My kit had a similar problem and it turned out I just had to rewire the HID harness to match my stock harness.

Crap I just remembered that this kit is a 9007 bulb type. That must mean that the connector is also made for 9007 stock headlamp power supplies . Is there any way I can modify the 9007 harness in order to work on a 9004 stock headlamp power supply?

I couldn't see the pics but 9007 and 9004 have same connections just different wiring. You just need to switch the wires around. Is the kit wired for 9007 or your stock harness wired for 9007? If the kit only is wired for 9007 you have to switch the red and black wire around so that red is in the middle and black is on the right. Let me know if you're still having trouble and send me a pic of the harness if you need help with where the wires go.

My kit doesn't blind anybody and I didn't even reaim my lights. I've never gotten flashed, honked etc.... I've looked at my kit from another car at all different angles and it didn't blind at all. I guess it all depends what kit you get.
