I recently bought a 98 se. The airbag mod was stolen from the car so i replaced it. The damn light is still on and my horn dont work. So im guessing the horn is tied into the airbag somewhere or i have another problem. lol

Can someone please help me! I need a horn and the light is killing me!

try reseting the air bag, see if the light stays on.

 

The airbag module. I tried the whole dds 5 times in 7 secs but nothing. I will try it again tomorrow.

The car I got the module from the air bags deployed. I hope that dont make a diff.

And is it normal for the horn not to work?

If you got a module from the car that had deployed airbags it's not gonna work. Module will not work after bags deployed.

 

not too sure, but I dont think so. I had a blinking air bag light on my beater and the horn worked fine.

 

module are one time use things so yours is no good you need to get one froma car that the airbags DIDNT deploy from

 

Ok so now that i know the module is crap. I also have side airbags. Do I need a mod from a car with side airbags? The car i got it from only had the pass side airbag deploy.
