altinator went

altinator went

i think my altinator died the garage says 450 to replace it, is that unreasonable

you can do it much cheaper yourself.........just get under there and figure it out with a manual or write up on the net.

it will make you feel better about yourself and you will sve your money

You could probably do it yourself if you have a little mechanical ability. I replaced my alternator twice about 2 years ago since the first one was defective and it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I was able to pull it out the bottom by unbolting the a/c compressor and moving it over enough to squeeze the alternator past it. It took me about 45 minutes from start to finish.
