I want to get a LCD installed but I am not sure how it will look/fit in the area where the Bose is. Will I be giving up alot by getting rid of the Bose? What kind of LCD do you recommend/how much/where to get? How are local channels received by these fancy things?

Alpine as well as Clarion make some sweet head units with built in motorized screens. You need a TV tuner module to get local channels,( I know Clarion has one, not sure Apline does)PLus they have the DVD players that fit in the second din slot.

 

I have the Alpine CBA-1000 installed in my 99. I've had it for about 2 years now. It firs tlooks a tad weird but you'll get use to it. I have pics if ya want to see what it looks like. I would post but have no idea how to. E-mail me and i can send em to ya. Let me know.

There are many ways to get TV reception in your car, but none are that good. Ever ride in a limo? That's the quality to expect. I can give you prices from the cheapest all the way up to the creame de le creame (think that's how you spell it). Kenwood's is built in, Alpine's and Clarion you have to buy. If you were going to add a VCR get one with a TV tuner and that's all you need. That's about all there is to know.
