Alternators Goin

So my car makes kind of a whiny noise and i was told it was only my belt(which has its own squeak) so i went and had my alternator tested. Its bad and im going to get a new one. are these noises more than just a bad alternator? and should i stick with the stock alternator?

You can move up to the 125 amp alternator if you have the smaller one. Some guys here have even bigger since they are running stereos, lights and the such which draws tons of juice. I only have a stock system but when mine blew I got the 125 amp from O'Reillys with the lifetime warranty.

I don't know who monopolizes it but all it needs is one of those charcoal thingamajig. I believe they use to sell them. Those fools just replace that cheap part, which only takes a couple of minutes to change, as rebuilt.
