new intake filter
i dont know and it may be the fact i know i installed it, but my max seems better with the new Airhog filter installed. took out the old paper filter (dirty and had all this dirt in it), cleaned out the box to the best of my capabilities, and then replaced with my nice Fram Airhog.
my car seems to be a bit louder (intake obviously)
car seems to have regained some hp (some low end power)
none of the changes are like amazing or major, but for a simple $20 (after $20 rebate) seems good. are these results at all possible? or am i smoking something? my friend doesnt believe me that a air filter would really do jackcrap and thinks its just my brain f-ing with me since i know i installed it

What was funny? I was serious. Changing the clogged dirty filter with a new one will provide better air flow for power and give life to the car....you might notice that it feels better but it's not like you gained power. Maybe 1 hp back or so.
