Opinion (Body kit)

Guys I have the chance to get a R33 body kit for about $300 full kit. It is fiberglass and I know its not that great but is this worth the money. I have to get a new front and back bumper anyway with paint. Its for a 97.. Thanks guys.

It's your car so do what you think you'll like. But IMO anything besides Ionic or Stillen looks like ****. Doesnt flow with the car and makes you look like a rice racer.

and for the record do not buy it and try to resell it for more money like someone suggested..you most likely wont get more since they are pretty cheap on ebay. AND someone said the oem bumper is same price??? $300 for a front or rear oem bumper?? UMM NO. Ebay FTW!! you can get a 97-99 unpainted new bumper for like $85 shipped. it may not be oem..or it may be..looks the same

it is a good deal to get all the parts for 300, I only have the ionic rears and lip and that already cost me about 300... if u like how the kit looks, then get it, if ur not sure ask for a picture and see how it looks, and if its in ur taste I say go for it...

the price is good even if it is CF, and these kits can look nice IMO, the owner of TMEC did his up quite well before he got rid of his 4th gen. I think the real key to making it less ricey is to clean up the front a little bit, remove some of the holes and stuff. This is what he did to his... ignore the crack :P

The stillen kits, well atleast the 97-99, look really nice IMO but they are becoming like altezzas on civics, everyone has them. I know a lot of people have the R33 style kits too, but they are still less common then the stillen/ionics and being different is a big deal to a lot of people.

hhahaha, i dont like to mod the exterior very often. I'd focus on performance under the hood before i upgraded/modded the body. the offer still stands though.... lol.

i am "matur"

Stillen all the way.

Want to be like a slow skyline save up your money for the real **** and leave the fiberglass, not 100% fitting, rice looking crap for another 4 banger.

Boothhead - I know a lot of people have the R33 style kits too, but they are still less common then the stillen/ionics
They are less common because they are THE UGLIEST THING YOU CAN PUT ON A MAX!!!! Pair that up with altezza's...= RICE and NO QUALITY! All ricers care about it what they can do for cheap to get it to look like F&F. ITs all ugly and there is no class.

I have not seen 1 nice looking max with a skyline kit on it..and I have seen a ton of max's! Just take a look on this site at all the guys who are known for having the best looking maximas...All stillen or Ionic..FTW!
