Tranny problem

well i got a stage 3 spec clutch in my car, right now...i'm having a bit of trouble shifting. when i depress the clutch pedal all the way down it's hard to get into first, it goes in like half way and if i release the clutch pedal to the right point, it will then go into first. My clutch is fully detached from the flywheel when i step on the clutch all the way down or at that point where first gear would go in. Also when i'm at WOT i would grind 2nd gear, then sometiems i would grind 3rd if i don't have the clutch pedal at teh right point. anyone heard of problems with the clutch pedal getting depressed too much and causing problem? sorry for the long post, advice would be greatly appreciated.

I had this problem when I went to a spec 2 on my stock old clutch system. The mechanic at nissan told me I might have to get a new clutch slave/master cylinder...OR just press the clutch in a couple good pumps full in and out before shifting..that helped and it got better after a little while. Another time it happend I bled the clutch system. That helped too

I agree. It sounds like your clutch isn't fully declutching. Better solve it soon because you'll kill your clutch and tranny.

well i know it's fully detaching because when when i'm in first gear with clutch down, doesn't move anywhere, i know when it touches the clutch because i can feel it starting to move when i release the clutch pedal at a certain point.
