So you put something on the cross member? Did it eliminate the noise?

Oh yeah, man. It's quiet again. I put the radiator hose on there. I couldn't get the rest of that crappy heat shield off, though, and I can faintly hear it sometimes. It's no louder than the sound of the tires and shocks going across the speed bumps, though. But I hose clamped all that junk and it ain't goin nowhere.
