Best DD springs...

So the birthday's coming up and it's about time to get rid of the 4-wheeler suspension on the max. I'm going all the way and getting the illuminas and I'm thinking about doing a tein/illumina setup. I want a lowered ride but I want it nice enough so it can be a daily driver, and I'm afraid the teins might be too rough. I'd rather not go with eibachs b/c of price but if they give a MUCH better ride I'll do it.

Any suggestions?

I have Eibachs and they've done great for the past 75k.

As far as price, you get what you pay for.

H&Rs for Daily.....Progress and Eibach would be tied for second IMO......paired with the right struts Eibachs would be the best combo for mixed DD and Spirited driving

yeah my Eibach/AGX are a little bit rough.. then again I ride 3F and 6R. I would recommend the setup MaximaSE96 has, or Sutter.

I thought Progresses were rougher than s techs

What's the drop with H&R's?

Hells no. Progress could have a stiffer rate but they stay off the bump stops so the ride is much better. Stechs are probably the worst spring period.

H&R's are rated at 1.4" or so but many have said to be lower. Dave B (not the parts guy) was darn low on them. He claimed they were 1.7" drop. They also can have a saggy looking rear but thats just the wheel arches.

Thanks a bunch for the help guys

I've decided I'm going with either eibachs or progress. Progress's are cheaper and drop a little more, but from what I've heard eibachs have a better ride and performace and are more dependable. Is this right? If so I'm gonna go with eibachs.

i think sprint springs are the worse springs ever.. over time they sag in the front.
