I can't believe that you are having the same problem as me. It started yesterday after having the Max detailed. Goes off for no resason.

Any answers out there? Can't pull the anti-theft as it is also the start circuit.

look in the posts from yesterday, I just read where other guys were having the same problem. It turns out that it was because water somehow got on the locking mechanism and corroded it. They said there was a fix in the stickies but in the meantime they both just sprayed some WD-40 in the lock and turned their key with pliers to help lubricate it or simply unplugged the sensor.

ok its still going off. is there anything else besides the hood pin and the doors not locking all the way that would do this?

Yes. Slow down a little.

Mine was being caused by water getting into the connector under the spoiler in the upper trunk lid. Removed the inner carpet, Found the connectors. Opened them up. Dried them out with electonics cleaner.

No more problem.

I did pull the 7.5 ohm fuse from the driver side engine compartment fuse box (marked anti-theft) until it was done

That is how the water got to me. And since you live in a fairly dry clime I doubt the problem for you unless you use a high pressure sprayer. Might still be worth a look.
