Valve ticking is driving me nuts.

So as the title stated when i fire my car up in the morning i get valve tick as usual with any car, but it just drives me nuts untill it get oil to it. is there anyway to prevent this from happening, like using synthetic or oil additives?

Thanks guys,
-Colin

Many have had excellent luck using autoRx. I've used it with very good results in my engine that has near 200K mi., but I never had any valve ticking so I can't comment on whether or not it will definitely fix that issue but it claims it helps.
