I'm trying to sell my car and KBB quoted it for around 8k, but I want to see what you guys think I can get for my car

1999 SE
86,xxx miles

pros:
paint is still in good condition except for a minor blemish on the hood
clean interior

cons:
throws cel for EGR
weird suspension noises
cig lighter doesnt work
hazard button doesn't stay in

I also have clear corners, white/red tails, aftermarket sound system. Which I plan on putting back to stock to try and get more out of this car

wat do you guys think?

Fix the egr and maybe the other issues, you should get 7K.

i was going to buy a 99 sel for $7,000 but it had 77 K on it and no cel's.

i say try for $7,000 as a first asking price and if you can get that that would be good.

I just got '98 GXE (w/ leather option) with 108k miles in great mechanical shape, with regular scrach marks and dents on a body. Came with brand new set of tires Bridgestone Potenza G 009 and just done tune-up - all I have to replace is fuel filter. All those goodies for only $3800.

The price depends also on a area. In NJ your car would be worth aprox. $6k.

Don't think an SEL comes with cloth and manual climate control.

My 99 SE-L has 53k (I purchased it new) leather, auto climate control, sunroof, 5spd... The SE-L can be found with and without leather, sunroof, and auto climate control.

Double check the ABS - very few 4th gen. Maximas have ABS. It took me 8 months to find a fully loaded Pearl on black SE with ABS.

Turn your key to the on position. You should see the ABS light light up for a second or two.

Pretty sure it's not an SE-L. sorry...SE-L are special Edition 99's that come with the highest options. Sure seems like you have a different model and it's either got an SE-L tag or you're incorrect. Do you have a pic of the VIN or anything?

This is my knowledge of SE-Ls. Just like regular SEs, they can come as 'stripped' as GXEs and as loaded as GLEs. The unique/different features are: SE embroidered on the floor mats, SE embroidered on the driver/passenger seat-back (I think only with the leather option), perforated leather (no side airbags were available even though they were on the other '99 SEs and GLEs with the 'deluxe seating' package), SE-L emblem on the outside, bronzed SE 5-spoke wheels and rear emblems and gauges too I believe, I think crimson red was only avail. on SE-Ls, and (I was always jealous of this one) a map pocket on the back of both the driver and passenger seats (vs. only the back of the passenger seat like our cars). I might have stated something incorrectly and I might have forgot some but that's what I can remember right now at midnight.
