What's the best muffler to go with
Well, state farm is coming to look at the muffler damage tomorrow. I was rear-ended back on June 30th. I had to wait for a while until there was an opening due Katrina destroying many body shops and the open ones having long waiting lists (3 months). I just got it back this week. Besides a damaged bumper, the reinforcement beam was bent into a V shape; the body people said I was hit a lot harder than initially thought. Anyway, my muffler needs to be replaced since the impact also tore off one of the hangers, making a hole in my muffler. It's a Greddy muffler that I picked up 4 years ago at a local motorsports shop. The muffler sounded nice but always had a drone. What muffler should I go with that will eliminate this drone but still sound mean? I have a budget y-pipe and custom b-pipe with a high flow cat. Thanks for your input. Yes, I've searched and looked at stickies.

Apex'i World Sport if you can find one. The HKS as well.
I know you said you went throught the stickies but did you listen to a good bit of the clips?
Also, the Cattman muffler is designed with a y-pipe in mind.

I love my cattman cat-back but if your looking for less drone then the cattman is not for you. I also didn't feel any gains on the butt dyno. If it's just the sound you want then just go with a muffler. When I replaced the b-pipe after I had just the muffler on the car it got a lot louder.
