Need Super White/bright headlight bulb

Which superbright headlight bulbs should I get for my '97 or '99 without burning the harness? Last time, I changed it to superglow from AutoZone or some brand few years ago and put it on my '97, it burned the harness and I had to replace it with a new one.

Any recommendations without changing anything other than the bulb? Also, I'd like to change the corner and the turn signal bulbs as well to match exactly like the headlamps...........the yellow tint seems to be a bit different.

thanks for your help.

You wont match corners and headlamps. IMO I think all the white bulbs look like crap. They only bright bulb for 9004 is really PIAA. Very expensive and I dont think they are worth it. If you want good bulbs upgrade to 9007 or hid. 9004 are really a waste. Xtravisions are good bulbs for conversion but they are more yellow. You get much better light output with the yellow bulbs in rain and all. Personally I'm running Silverstars in my 9007 conervsion. They work great and I have no problems with output. I've never had a short lasting bulb either (usually a problem with people).

Sig picture is old, still havent taken any pics of the 9007 upgrade yet, even after months.

Try phillips xtravisions im sure you wont be disappointed. Its bright white to me and the output is 100x better than those overwattage ricer bulbs i used to have.

Your sig says you have bluevisions? Those have horrible output. Basically as I said, all 9004 bulbs are bad output and worthless when you can upgrade them fairly easily.

Go with Sylvania Silverstars! They're better than the Xtravisions.

Those look really nice! You do not have clear-outs, do you? From the pic, it looks like you have orange lenses? But, nonetheless, those look nice!.

No I do have clear corners. Those are all amber bulbs. I actually did have a pic of the 9007 swap but my camera isnt too great and the bulbs are too powerful to take a good pic lol. But IMO amber bulbs with nice headlights look much better. Debating the yellow fogs now...
