where is the best place to buy parts for the maxima, especially bumper covers and hoods

theyre pretty cheap on ebay for primed ones non painted. are they good quality?

thats where i got my 97 bumper, ebay. its nice, i guess. i didnt really see no problems, it fit great, so.........

 

if i cant get one from the junkyard thats where ill get mine.

 

i looked into this because i replaced the body kit that was on my car. the ones that are already primed are made in china and have a lot of oil in the plastic, which causes the paint to break down. if you buy these, they need to be boiled so the extra oil that is in the plastic comes out. If you buy the CAPA certified parts, they do not need to be boiled, and can just be painted. boiling the bumpersit costs more than the extra money that you will spend on the certified ones. i have researched all of this so i hope that this helps

 

damn thats a big sink, lol. ill look into the CAPA parts then but im really gonna hound the junkyards for an OEM already painted black...
