"Sporty" hubcaps for 1998 Maxima GXE

I have the tacky plastic hubcaps on the 15" rims. Before I call auto wreckers, or scarap yards, are there aluminum or steel rims for 15" rims.

I presume all non-GXE models have 16"-18" rims. How about the old GLE, SE or even 1999 ES. Are they all compatible?

Sorry, duh!

4th gens have: 15" steel wheels (hub caps), 15'" Sawblades, 15" honeycombs, 16" five-spokes, 16" SE-L five-spokes.

They (plus all I30/Q45/G35/Z/J30 wheels) are compatible.

I'm picturing a scene from a popular movie where said person says "can I see that, I need something to wipe my @ss with." Although a hubcap wouldn't work so well.

Don't buy hubcaps... they're a waste of money and all look crappy anyway. I think you can pickup some 4th gen alloys up for cheap in the classified, they might even come with tires. In addition to i30,q45,Z,G35,j30 wheels, I do believe all nissan/infiniti 5lug wheels will fit, i've seen m45 sport and murano wheels on maximas. be careful of non-nissan wheels however because i know that lexus wheels don't fit our hubs despite having the same 4.5" lug pattern

This is due to our 66.1 center bore. They can be bored to fit.

Wait, 16" five-spokes, 16" SE-L five-spokes are different?

They're painted a titanium color I believe.. Other than that I can't remember any other differences.

Add the dealer optional/?factory optional six spoke 15 inch wheels to the list of rims from the 4th generation.
15 inch rims are nice because the tires are pretty cheap/high value, and work well in the snow.
16 inch rims look better, and their tires typically handle better, but most of the time cost a fair amount more than 15s.
Some 97-99 SE 16 inch wheels off of the maxima.org for sale section might be a good value.
And Infiniti I30 wheels are also options.
here's some links for factory wheels-what they look like...

Yeah, plain and simple, titanium. The gold hue is absent in all I've seen.

Don't waste money on replacement hub caps. One will eventually fall off somewhere and you'll be stuck looking dumb.

Just save up a little and get a used set of stock rims from the forsale forum.

hubcaps FTMFL. I personally would rather have no hubcaps, and bare steelies than have hubcaps.
