Alright, well my drivers side headlight went out last night randomly. It's not the bulbs, and it's not the Left or right headlight fuse. All my wiring seems fine and for the life of me I can't figure out why it won't work. I'm resetting my computer right now but I doubt that will do anything. my fogs and parking lights and turn signals all still work. Now my brights indicator in the gauges is on all the time when my headlights are turned on. Anyone have any clue on why this would be happening?

I have heard if your high beam light is on in the dash, you probably bought 9007's instead of 9004's, if I remember correctly

I'm betting it's the headlight switch that has failed...
if it is, you have to remove the steering wheel and airbag to change it.
good luck.

could it really be the headlight switch if my passenger side headlight still works?

OT: if just the switch has failed, i dont think you have to take off the steering wheel and airbag, i've replaced on you just have to take off the stuff around the steering column and the piece of dash below the steering column which is all pretty easy

well I think I figured it out. I checked the plug that connects to the bulbs and it looks like it's the connector. I'll post up a pic tomorrow to show what I'm talking about. Now I have to get a new one somehow and install it.

ya it's weird that it happened out of no where. I've switched around 3 different bulbs and nothing works.

Is it a regular bulb or cool blue or other white bulbs? If something other than the regular bulb, it may be burning out the socket each time.

Nope regular bulbs. It's Sylvania xtravisions. I went ricer and went and bought silverstars and they also don't work

Check the plugins they will melt under higher then normal headlight amp draw, and then insulate the bulb.If that the case replace w/hi temp and do a rewire w/relays to avoid voltage drop.
