Whistle from intake at cruising rpms

Does anyone else have a slight 'whistle' at around 1500-1800 rpms, while cruising...say down the highway or whatever. i.e.:5th gear (or in OD) on and off accel, just to stay at cruising speed around 60?
I have gone over and over vaccuum lines with carb cleaner (typical vaccuum leak procedure), but NO leak. I even tried around intake/ TB gaskets. I tightened every hose clamp, no cracks in any lines, and A/F mixture is perfect (means that is not leaning out from leak.) Still Nothing. This is driving me crazy. I think it may be my filter. I have a 'Bomz' style HAI. (I know we all think that the stock intake setup is more efficient, so let's not beat my thread up about the efficiency of my intake (HAI) compared to stock, that's not what this thread is for.)

Thats the pic of my intake and filter, I believe the filter may be the cause, but I wanted to see if this problem has been addressed yet and successfully fixed. (I do not have any other filters to try or I would - I think it is from the cone shaped opening in the end of it). Could it be from needing IAC cleaned somehow? Did that 8,000m ago
The 'slight whistle' has become NAILS ON A CHALKBOARD and needs to be fixed NOW! If you have it the whistle, you'll know what I am talking about.

It's the midpipe that makes the whistle

The midpipe? Are you speaking of that cheap chrome tube? If so, I am curious to why...there is nothing there to cause the whistle (there are the 3 hoses, but they are VERY tight.) But definately a possibilty from overlooking. Do you know why its the pipe?
Hmmmm...more research, cuz I was almost sure it was the filter. Damn. I do not want the stock setup, so its either find & fix...or else. I don't know about you all, but the whistle make me want to drive pencils in my ears! (Freshly sharpened, #2's)

Gotta find it.
