Four bolts. Two on the side and two on the inside of the light (next to radiator). That's it. The inner ones are a b!tch to get at tho.

I believe they do need to be trimmed and you need to get some weatherstripping. Mymax97 was putting on the new 1 piece. Not the cefiros.

Wow.. What luck.. I think. Just yesterday I was trying to remove the headlight assembly and gave up. Found and and removed the four bolts you referred to and the tab that attaches the assembly to the grill. But the assembly still would not budge. Am I missing something or does it just need to be worked loose? My luck I'm gonna break something.
Thanks.

You probably need to work it loose. First time I did it the bolts bent and wouldnt come straight out of the holes. I had to bend them straight. Other than the bolts and the grille they should come out fairly easily.

Spraying WD-40 on something does not remove it so does it really matter?

Be sure to check your blinker fluid while the headlights are out.

Are you supposed to run synthetic with a boosted setup?

Dont forget the headlight fluid. That is the extra tube you may notice from the CAI install.

Or any intake install. The extra hose connects to the headlight fluid.

Make sure you replace or at least grease the headlight bearings while you've got the light out.

NEVER remove the headlights without tightening the Johnson rods first.

For the easiest removal, you really should detach the front bumper. And take the radiator off.

My headlights were installed with left handed metric phillips screws. Where can I get the proper tool?

I drive with my lights off sometimes just to ensure that I can delay this in-depth installation as long as possible. Guys that had a shop do it: did you need to get your car towed?
