KA-CHUUNK... Engine Misfire? Faulty Starter? HELP PLEASE

Hi All, Ocassionally when I go to start my max from a cold start i will hear the starter click in and instead of hearing the fury of the VQ reving I hear this weird kinda of KA-CHUUNK sound (almost like a misfire), it doesn't happen all the time, and my CEL isn't throwing any codes that indicate bad coils or anything and I haven't checked the plugs (they're new as of last year) but im assuming they're fine, i'm going to check them tomorrow. I know this is a terrible description, but any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you all. - Jon
